AATZ 460 - 9 Days Wildlife and Zanzibar Beach Safari

This short private Safari covers the highlights of Tanzania with a 3 days Safari to Lake Manyara and Ngorongoro Crater, and 4 days beach holiday on Zanzibar in the renown Breezes Beach Hotel on the East Coast of Zanzibar.

Day by day itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Arusha
Our representative will pick you from arrival point and then take you to the Moivaro Coffee Lodge in Arusha. You will be briefed about your safari and will spend the afternoon at leisure. Dinner and overnight at Moivaro Coffee Lodge.

Day 2: Departure to Lake Manyara and Ngorongoro
Leave at 9.00 am to Lake Manyara National Park with Picnic Lunch and a game drive in the park. In the afternoon we head to Ngorongoro, where we overnight in a Lodge. Ngorongoro Sopa Lodge or Ngorongoro Farmhouse (Karatu).

Day 3: Ngorongoro Crater
Early morning game drive (with a picnic lunch) inside the Ngorongoro Crater. As very few animals migrate in and out of the crater with its 2000 ft. high walls, you can expect to see lions, elephants, zebras, hippos, flamingos, jackals, rhinos, antelopes, many birds and other species. In the afternoon walking Safari on the crater rim. Overnight at a Lodge at Ngorongoro, Ngorongoro Sopa Lodge or Ngorongoro Farmhouse (Karatu). All meals included.(Note: on that day it is also possible to do a full day walking Safari in the Olmoti or Empakaai Crater, in the Ngorongoro Highlands)

Day 4: Ngorongoro Crater to Arusha
Early morning game drive in the park, then we drive back to Arusha. Dinner and overnight in the Moivaro Coffee Lodge.

Day 5: Zanzibar
After breakfast you will be transfered to Kilimanjaro airport for your flight to Zanzibar. After arrival on Zanzibar we will do the Spice Tour on the way to the East Coast. You will learn about Spices and herbs Zanzibar is famous for. Overnight in the Breezes Beach Club on the East Coast.

Day 6 and 8: Beach Hotel Zanzibar
Relax and enjoy Zanzibars East Coast whivch has some of the most beautiful beaches on the island. Accommodation on half board enables you to explore some of the culinary delights on the island better known as the Spice Islad. Watersports, Island Hopping etc keeps you engaged for the next three days. Overnight at a Beach Hotel.

Day 9: Departure
After breakfast you are ferried to the airport for your flight back home.
