Verified Wonderful 5 day safari experience in Kenya Our 5 safari was the perfect safari adventure and quiet, romantic moments, we really appreciate Dickson at Adventure Africa Expedition, he was a really well safari planner. He organized perfectly our 5 day, we felt very special and we got an authentic memorable experience. We started with our professional driver guide Fred, he was superbly skilled, his explanation was so helpful. Masai Mara was thrilling early morning game drives, spotting the Big Five, and watching the golden light spread across the savannah felt almost unreal. Every drive felt different and exciting. Lake Naivasha slowed things down in the best way. The boat ride, gentle breeze, and animals so close to the water created such a peaceful atmosphere. Lake Nakuru surprised us with its beauty, rhinos, and incredible viewpoints that made us stop and just stare. With the Adventure Africa Expeditions team we felt safe and well taken care of throughout. This safari gave us laughter, wonder, and moments of quiet awe. We returned home refreshed, inspired, and incredibly happy to have had this experience with them.

Verified Highly recommend using Adventure Africa Expedition We used Adventure Africa Expedition for arranging our trip to Kenya that included Maasai Mara visit, trip to Mt Kenya, self-driving around western Kenya and train to Mombasa. Dickson was amazing and we were very pleased with his company. He is very easy to work with and did a great job in putting this all together--the trip ran flawlessly. the background is that I lived in Kenya in the 1980s and thus wanted to see areas that are not normally tourist destinations--I also had some desire to do the arrangements myself. But for traveling here, I now strongly recommend using Dickson because he is well connected and makes sure all the things are taken care of--and also a nice guy who is easy to work with.

Verified Trip of a lifetime Dickson organized a trip to East Africa for us and it was a trip of a lifetime! We climbed Mt. Kilimanjaro, went on safari in Maasai Mara, and went gorilla tracking in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest. His company offered the trip at a reasonable rate. Dickson was very responsive and patiently answered all of my questions leading up to our trip. We were also able to easily reach him via WhatsApp when we were Africa. He was flexible and accommodating. We also really appreciated that he used locally owned and operated companies for our tours. Dickson went the extra mile by coming to personally meet us at our hotel in Nairobi, which was so thoughtful. We highly recommend you book with this company if you are travelling to East Africa.

Verified Mt Kenya and Kilimanjaro combined I made a combined trek to Mount Kenya and Kilimanjaro with Adventure Africa Expedition in August 2019. Both treks have been well organised. Dickson was always available to provide helpful information and the crew was professional and friendly. The food and the service whilst on the treks have been very good. I also appreciated the flexibility to make some changes in schedule on the go.

Verified Amazing trip ! All went according to plan !! I had a 3 days safari with adventure Africa and it went great ! Dickson was always very responsive to all my messages, I message him the day I was flying to Nairobi , he replied and my driver was at my airport hotel in time as promised . We set off to Maasai Mara at 9 ish but since I was joining a group there is always the assumption that we need to wait, the drive to massai Mara we stopped in the Rift Valley which has amazing views, the stop was like 15 mins or so, then we stopped in Narok for lunch and got in the maara around 4 pm, which still time to have a game drive, we saw few animals and we managed to see lions that day. The drive to the park is long around 6 hrs, nothing to do with the company , the roads are not that great, and the part that is paved there are so many trucks that is impossible to go faster ! Our driver peter was great and a good driver . They cannot go faster than 80km and they do not, also because the trucks will slow you trust me, never seen so many trucks in my life! The full day in the maara was great, we saw everything including the elusive leopard ! 5 seats of lions, elephants and etc, the only thing we did not see was the rhino, but I saw plenty in lake Nakuru on my 3rd day. The accommodation was good and the food there great too. I did waste a day driving from the maara to lake Nakuru , which is a bummer but again nothing to do with the agent , it’s a long drive and the damn trucks are everywhere ! I was please with my safari, travelled solo, my group had another 2 girls also solo, which was great I guess we were lucky when you join a group it could be more people. Thank you Dickson for the great experience, I always felt safe which is important when travelling alone in Africa . The Maasai Mara is great to see animals, after the maara I went to Tanzania which was awesome as well, but in the Mara the cars cab get off track and get close to the animals , I. The Serengeti you cannot, though I saw everything there too.
